I thought Jesus Is Magic was quite good. Sarah Silverman is so witty
and funny with a real edge to her humor. RATING: A-

The Brown Bunny
A man embarks on a cross-country odyssey to see the love
of his life and to try an reconcile with her. Directed, written
& starring Vincent Gallo. Chloe Sevigny (Trees Lounge & Kids)
is also in the film. As is famous 70's model Cheryl Tiegs.
RATING: B

Nowhere Man
Kind of a thriller about a man who's penis is severed and taken
by his jilted fiancee. Tim McCann has made a couple of pretty
good indie-films (Desolation Angels & Revolution No. 9), but
this film is a real step back for him.
RATING: D-

Scary Movie 4
David Zucker (Airplane & Naked Gun) directs this
franchise for the second time and again misfires.

Man With the Screaming Brain

Bruce Campbell writes and stars in this film made for the Sci-Fi Channel...I think. Coulda been better, but Campbell played the part to the max. Wish it had a better budget. Rating: C

Jay Mohr was a total powerhouse in this awesome tv satire about Hollywood.
The shows tagline says it all, immoral, politically incorrect, and fiercely funny.
RATING: A

Tennis Anyone
Two friends, one a star of a sitcom and the other a former tennis pro,
try to get their lives back on track in this funny drama centered around
tennis. Directed, written & starring Donal Logue (The Tao of Steve and
Grounded For Life).
RATING: B

Sorry, Haters
A post-9/11 thriller about anger and retribution. Robin Wright Penn
gives an excellent performance in the lead role.
RATING: B-

I agree. This is the only project I ever liked Jay Mohr in. Except maybe Paulie.

The Great New Wonderful
Five stories intertwine in this post 9/11 drama about these people
in NY City trying to get their lives back on track. A big cast that stars
among others Maggie Gyllenhaal, Tony Shaloub and Edie Falco.

A Prairie Home Companion
Based on the last days of Garrison Keillor's midwestern radio show.
Directed by Robert Altman (The Player, Short Cuts) and features
his normal all-star ensemble cast.
RATING: B+

Art School Confidential
Ghost World's director Terry Zwigoff and writer Daniel Clowes team
up once again for this drama. It's about a young man's adventures
in his 1st year of art school. Co-stars John Malkovich & Steve Buscemi
make this movie better than average.

The Break-Up
I only rented this because Vince Vaughn is one cool motherfucker.
Plus, Jon Favreau (Swingers) is in the movie as well and it's always
cool when these two are in a movie together. Some funny parts.

I watched 2 lighthearted horror movies in the same vain as Tremors.

Slither
An unknown species starts to infect people in a small town.
Stars Elizabeth Banks (The Baxter), Nathan Fillion (Serenity)
and Michael Rooker (Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer). It was
written & directed by author James Gunn (The Toy Collector).
RATING: B

Feast
A group of strangers are trapped in a small town bar by creatures.
Stars Balthazar Getty, Henry Rollins and Jason Mewes. This film
was the Project Greenlight winner & was directed by John Gulager.

gets together with his childhood pals the week of his wedding.
Edward Burns (Brother's McMullen, She's The One, No Looking Back)
wrote, directed and stars in the film. The talented cast also includes
Jay Mohr, Donald Logue (The Tao of Steve), John Leguizamo and
Matthew Lillard. Plus, Brittany Murphy plays the pregnant girlfriend.

Strangers with Candy
I'm a big fan of the tv show, but this prequel movie just doesn't
reach the quality level of the show. Though it does have some
interesting cameo roles throughout out the film.

yeah, i agree- i think it was one of the coolest westerns to come out since unforgiven.

that takes place in London is again a change of pace for Woody Allen.

Beerfest
Starring, written & directed by the Broken Lizard comedy team.
The title pretty much sums up what the movie is all about. It's
better than Club Dread, but falls short of Super Troopers.

husband who can't make her cum tries to regain his manhood.

Miami Vice
Make no mistake this movie more than holds up on it's own.
Director Michael Mann has crafted a very good film based on
his groundbreaking 80's tv show.
RATING: A-

Lonesome Jim
A 27 year old man moves back in with his parents in a small town.
Stars Casey Affleck & Liv Tyler. Steve Buscemi (Trees Lounge) directed.
RATING: B

Talladega Nights
A NASCAR parody starring Will Ferrell. The movie is good, but
not great. It could have been much funnier. Though I do find myself
with my friends using the catch phrase shake and bake quite a bit.
RATING: B

Forty Shades Of Blue
The relationship between an unfaithful Memphis music producer
and his much younger girlfriend from Russia begins to change
when his son arrives for a visit. Rip Thorn and Dina Korzun give
great performances in the two roles & make this worth checking out.
RATING: B-

Little Miss Sunshine
An off-beat film about a dysfunctional family who embark on
a road trip to get their daughter to a talent pagent. It stars
Greg Kinnear, Steve Carell, Toni Collette & Alan Arkin.
RATING: A-

Lady In The Water
M. Night Shyamalan misfires in this mythical bedtime story fairytale.
